A sustainable community basically refers to a community that is designed and built in a specific way that leads to sustainable living. A sustainable community would use renewable and natural resources (solar power, wind power, etc.) that do not damage the environment and eliminate the risk of scarcity of resources. A sustainable community is healthier for the environment and living organisms.
