A mountain is 10,349 feet above sea level and a valley is 122 below sea level. What is the difference between elevation?

Difference means subtraction. If the sea level = 0, then the height of the mountain = 10,349 and the height of the valley = -122. 10,349 - (-122) = 10,349 + 122 = 10,471
