We have to simplify the given expression:

1. [tex] 3x+2y-2x+2 [/tex]

Combining the like terms,we get the second step as

2. [tex] (3x-2x)+(2y)+(2) [/tex]

Now, taking 'x' common from the first two terms, we get third step as:

3. [tex] (3-2)x+2y+2 [/tex]

Now, simplifying the expressions among the like terms, we get fourth step as:

4. [tex] x+2y+2 [/tex]
