Easy,

it's already good, written in y=mx+b form

m=slope

You have,

5y=x-3

Divide by 5 to isolate the y

[tex] \frac{5y}{5}= \frac{x}{5}- \frac{3}{5} [/tex]

Making it,

y= [tex] \frac{1}{5} x- \frac{3}{5} [/tex]

The slope,m, is [tex] \frac{1}{5} [/tex].

m=slope
so we just have to convert it to such
5y=x-3
sivide both sides by 5 to get 1y
y=1/5x-3/5
y=mx+b
m=1/5
slope=1/5
