I learned a process of how to do it a while ago, but I completely forgot it. The way that I solve these kind of problems is just by using guess and check until I get the answer. It usually works for me! So what I got for this answer was 11 and 6. If you add 11+6, you get 17. If you subtract 11-6, you get five. Hope I helped!
