The written equation would be:
[tex] {2}^{6} \div {4}^{2} [/tex]
Do your exponents.

2 to the sixth is 64.

4 to the second is 16.

[tex]64 \div 16[/tex]
Divide.

[tex]64 \div 16 = 4[/tex]
Hope this helps!

Hi there!

Lets first put the question into equation format. It will look like this,

2^6 ÷ 4^2

"^" means "raised to a power of"

Now, solve the powers and divide.

2^6 = 64

4^2 = 16

Divide,

64 ÷ 16 = 4

Your answer is 4

Hope this helped!~
