2. What is the scale factor of the dilation (with center at the origin) if point P (4, 3) becomes P’ (8, 6)?

Answer: Scale factor is 2

Divide the x coordinates: 8/4 = 2

and do the same to the y coordinates: 6/3 = 2

we get 2 each time
