Rosa parks was an American activist. Everyone learns about her in school. She is a big influence on the people today and on the people during her lifetime. She helped the civil rights movement. I am pretty sure you heard the story about the "Black woman on bus fights for her rights." She influenced the young people to not be afraid and to fight for their rights.
