According to Egyptian religion, the pharaoh was considered the personification of the God Horus in human form, Horus was considered the daughter of the Sun. The pharaoh was  most powerful person in the whole ancient Egypt. The Egyptians believed  they  had obligation to keep the leader happy because  he was the embodiment of the God, so he could control everything that happen in the universe.
