The formula for  chromium (III) phosphate is CrPO4. This compound exists as a green crystal and as a hydrated form violet crystal having the formula of CrPO4•4H2O. The formula for cobalt(II) phosphate octahydrate is Co3(PO4)2•8H2O. It exists as an hydrated form.
