Spindle fibers are part of a spindle apparatus that moves chromosomes during mitosis and meiosis to ensure even chromosome distribution between daughter cells. Spindle fibers are produced in the centrosome from cylindrical microtubules called centrioles. Hope I’ve helped ;)
