area of circle = πr²

Using 3.14 for π...

3.14 = π(r²)

3.14 = 3.14(r²)

1 = r²

r = 1 ft

circumference of circle = 2πr

circumference = 2(3.14)(1) = 6.28 ft

answer: 6.28 ft
