A Car is traveling westward with a constant velocity of 20 m/s, what is the net force acting on the car?

According to Newton's second law of motion, the force acting on an object is equal to the mass multiplied by the acceleration of the moving object. Since the object is moving in a constant velocity, acceleration is zero. Hence regardless of the mass of the car, the force acting is zero provided that air resistance and friction is negligible
