Balanced equation:

2 HCl + 1 Ca(OH)₂ = 1 CaCl₂ + 2 H₂O

Neutralization reaction is a reaction between a strong acid and a strong base to produce salt and water. The strong acid is hydrochloric acid while calcium hydroxide is the strong base. The balanced reaction is 2HCl + Ca (OH)2 = CaCl2 + 2H2O
