To find the surface area for the rectangle prism the formula is the Length*Width*Height. It depends on the shape your choosing. It will be helpful if you provide the picture so i can help u with it.
I found the area of each side of the rectangular prism, subtracting the missing area from the front and back sides of the prism. Then I added together the area of all 6 faces to find the total outer surface area.
