you can multiple -6 by 7 = -42

and then find what adds into -19 but can multiply together to get -42.

In this case (x-21)(x+2) would work

then you have to divide out your 7 from both numbers,

(x-21/7)(x+2/7)

then you have to make them equal to zero

x-21/7 = 0                =   x = 21/7 = 3

x+2/7 = 0                 =   x = -2/7

so your final answer is x = 3 and x = -2/7
