If we use the FSI numbers, if one person spends three hours a day with Spanish, the 480 hours amounts to 160 days, or less than six months. If another person spends one hour a day with Spanish, it will take 480 days, or around a year and a half.

I'm Hispanic and I speak Spanish a little bit and my parents is Mexican and they both speaks Spanish.

Honestly it took me about a year in a half to learn Spanish. But really it just depends on the person. Some months some years. I hope this was helpful.
