Transfer the Standard equation to Slope Intercept form, -7y = -2y - 6 and then divide by -7, y = (2/7)x + (6/7)

Then, since we know that parallel lines have the same slope, we can form part of our equation, y = (2/7)x + b

Now we need to apply the slope to the point, so that we can get the y intercept,

(7-7 , 4-2) = (0,2)

We have our Y intercept now, so we can say that our equation is y = (2/7)x + 2
