10p+5= (18p - 6) / 2

Multiply both sides by 2 then

2(10p+5) = 10p -6

20p + 10 = 10p -6

Subtract 10p to both sides

20p +10 – 10p = 10p – 6 -10p

Simplify

10p +10 = -6

Subtract 10 to both sides

10p +10 – 10 = -6 -10

Simplify

10p = -16

Divide both sides by 10

10p/10 = -16/10

Simplify

P= - 16/10

P = -8/5

P = -1 3/5
