I can give you some items to use in your paragraph. 1st - Thomas Jefferson became known for expanding the U.S.A by a lot, 80,000 square miles if I remember correctly. 2nd - The U.S.A got more land to explore and new opportunities and items to trade. 3rd - The U.S.A could gain better alliances with other countries by trading with things they might not have seen.
