We know the formula, y=mx+c

where,

y=y coordinate

m=slope

c= y-intercept

by using this formula

y=x-7 :))))))

formula for the linear equation is:
y=x-7

7 is the y-intercept and since your slope is 1 you just write x. hope this helps :)
