the b refers to the y intercept which in your case is -4

so on the graph you would put -4 on the y line so at (0,-4)

Then the m or the slope which is 1.2 means from the point (0,-4) you move 1.2 units up and 1 unit to the right forever to create your line so you continuously move 1.2/1 and -1.2/-1
