Protein synthesis in bacteria is controlled by the plasmid. We may alter the structure of the plasmid to incorporate a human gene by the help of enzymes. The bacteria's plasmid will then contain the information to produce human protein.
The simpler nature of the bacterial genetic material allows us to do this.
