How are aquifers and aqueducts alike?

By definition, Aquifers are natural underground reservoir of water. On the other hand, aqueducts are man-made pipe or channel that serves as the way to deliver water from its source to places. Both are alike in such a way that it handles water. They both are useful in water consumption and water handling.
