The Bill of Rights, is the first ten amendments that were established to the U.S Constitution on December 15, 1791. They were written to guarantee essential rights and civil liberties, such as the right to free speech and the right to a fair trial. There are 14 original copies of the Bill of rights, one for the federal government and one for each of the original 13 states.
