f(x) = (3x+7)^2

f(1) = (3*1+7)^2 ... replace every x with 1

f(1) = (3+7)^2

f(1) = 10^2

f(1) = 100

Final Answer: 100

Start with f(x)=(3×+7)^2.  Replace each instance of "x" with "1."

Calculate the quantity inside parentheses first.  Then, square that quantity.  Label your result as "f(1)."
