5/7 = n / 350....5 nickels to 7 dimes = n nickels to 350 dimes
this is a proportion so we cross multiply
(7)(n) = (5)(350)
7n = 1750
n = 1750/7
n = 250....so there are 250 nickels

The ratio is 5:7
At the moment it is ? : 350
To work this out so 350 / 7 = 50
50 x 5 = 250.
There are 250 nickels therefore your answer is C. 250.
