It takes Karl 6 hours to drive 372 miles. If he drives at a constant speed during the 6 hours, what is his unit rate? At this rate, how far will Karl drive during 8 hours?

Use the equation speed equals distance over time.
s=372/6
  =62mi/hr

Use the equation distance equals speed times time.
d=62*8
 =496mi in 8 hours
