f(x) must also have a slope (m) of 3/4, because parallel lines share a slope in linear functions (y=mx+b), so any answer that begins with 3/4x could be f(x).

The condition that 2 or more than 2 lines are parallel, is to have the SAME SLOPE.

So the line that is parallel to y=3/4(x) +2/5 is y = 3/4(x) +b
You can repace b by any number, you will always have a parallel line to the original function
