Rosalind Franklin was studying DNA at the King's College in London. She was working with a student, using the same method Maurice Wilkins did in his research of the DNA- crystallography. She managed to get high-resolution photos of the crystallized DNA fibers. This contributed the solving of DNA structure. This image gave information about the duble helical structure of the DNA, later defined by Watson and Crick.
