In “The Grapes of Wrath”, the one reason Steinbeck uses parallelism in order to highlight the contrast between opposing ideas.

 

By using parallelism, Steinbeck composed his written piece with symmetry, effectives and balance.

“The Grapes of Wrath” focuses on the Joads and was set during the Great Depression.
