Do everything right to left.

(-6)*(-2)= 12 (two negatives equal a positive)

12*-1= -12 (a negative and a positive equal a negative)

-12 is your answer.

when two negatives multiply together it becomes a positive

when one positive and one negative multiply together it becomes a negative

(-6)(-2) = 12

(12)(-1) = -12

-12 is your answer
