When a company's revenue is greater than its expenses, it means that?

The answer is profit. Revenue refers to income. (ie) what ever comes in for a concern it is considered as a income . Here revenue is greater than expense which shows that there is more income over the expenses. Unless revenue is more a company cannot earn profit. So here the company is making profit.
