Find the perimeter of a trapezoid with sides that measure 13.1 inches, 5.8 inches, 5.4 inches and 16 inches.

A trapezoid has 4 sides. You have everything you need, just add them together. The perimeter of this trapezoid is 40.3 inches or 3.358 feet.

The perimeter is all the sides added up, so:

We know that the trapezoid already has 4 sides, so we have all the measures and can add them together. 

13.1+5.8+5.4+16= 40.3

So, the perimeter (all the sides added up) is 40.3 inches.
