The failure of the human body to effectively maintain dynamic equilibrium can result in Disease.

What is Disease?

This is defined as an abnormal condition that negatively affects the structure or function of all or part of an organism.

The process in which the body cells maintain dynamic equilibrium  is referred to as Homeostasis. Absence of this results in the destruction of cells and tissues which leads to various forms of diseases.
