The best option from the list would be that "no on knows," since although it is likely that many of the colonists starved, this settlement is known as the "Lost Colony," due to the mystery surrounding its disappearance.

The last option is correct No one knows what ever happened to Roanoke Island it's just a mystery you know sort of like the lost city of Atlantis.
