2x+9y=27 help solve slope

First you need to get y alone. Subtract 2x from each side. So now u have 9y=27-2x. Now divide each side by nine to get y alone. So now u have y=3-2/9x. Now put it in slope intercept form. Move around 27 and -2x. Now u have y=2/9x-3. The number before x is ur slope so 2/9 is ur slope!
